Festival magic on Beaufort Street

What a rush!

This year's Beaufort St Festival was a massive event with over 100,000 people attending despite the rather roasty conditions.

Interestingly for me, the experience of being part of the Festival started not with the event on the day, but meeting the people who helped me create my space and those engaged in running the Event.

Despite the pressures of the massive task undertaken, even at the eleventh hour, their faces beaming contagious smiles.

A huge thank you goes out to Lee at Discus who helped me with the printing of my display, as well as Brody MacLeod and Marissa Glas for their support helping me find a home for it on the day ... and of course my priceless setup helpers Angela Pownell and Jacky Coglan who's elbow grease meant that things went up, and came down without a hitch.

The Festival itself was all I could have hoped for making sure I was more then entertained ... with a spectrum of charismatic characters pausing in the chaos of the streets to share a little time, and entrust me with their Lifelines.

Check out the Lifelines Portraits and photos from the day.
